A Thrift Store Created to Help Children
Since 1960, Mountain States Children’s Home has been providing a safe, secure family home setting for girls and boys in crisis. Family issues, neglect, abuse, sexual exploitation, addiction and other issues bring these children to our Home. One of the few boys and girls Children’s Homes in Colorado, we help to reunite families or prepare graduates for independence.
The MSCH Thrift Store is a store created for the specific goal to help the children of Mountain States Children’s Home. This thrift store provides a new way for “Our Home” to serve the community, and provides funding for our children since we are funded privately through individuals, churches, business, and community. All of the proceeds from the Thrift Store will provide housing, food, loving houseparents and a beautiful campus for our children to grow and heal the wounds of abuse, neglect, and abandonment. As a 100% private Home we rely solely on the community to support our children, and the Mountain States Children’s Home Thrift Store is a great opportunity for our Home to give back and provide gently used furniture, clothing, household decor, children’s toys, and a store full of other goods for great prices.
